Rewilding Australia manages ‘Eastern Shield’, a fox monitoring and management program operating across the Jervis Bay region. The program supports the reintroduction of locally extinct species, including the southern brown bandicoot, the long-nosed potoroo and the eastern quoll. Eastern Shield also aims to protect locally threatened species, including the eastern ground parrot and spotted-tailed quoll. Eastern Shield engages local communities and offers a no-cost wildlife monitoring and fox management service for private land owners and managers.
