Rewilding Bannockburn

Creating a world class landscape-science educational campus across 100 hectares of woodland and pasture in the Shoalhaven region of south eastern Australia. Rewilding Bannockburn will seek to improve our understanding of the role of Australia’s mammals in agroforestry landscapes, and test methods to improve captive-to-wild mammal reintroductions. Candidate species include brush-tailed rock wallabies, southern brown bandicoots, long nosed potoroos, eastern bettongs, eastern quolls, and perhaps even Tasmanian devils.
